I grew up in Pollock, SD which is only about 2 miles from the North
Dakota border. I went to Elementary School and High School in Pollock. I
graduated High School in 1994. During High School I participated in
Track, Cross Country, Football, Basketball, Chorus, Debate, One Act Play
& Band. After High school I went to college at Dakota Wesleyan
University in Mitchell, SD. In college I participated in Track and
Football. I graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Elementary Education. In 2012 I finished my Master's degree from
Southwest State University in Marshall, MN in Brain Based Education. I took my first job teaching and
coaching in Iroquois, SD. Since then I have traveled around the state
and taught in Harding County, Pollock, Dakota Valley, Webster and now
Baltic. My wife Danielle is a Speech Pathologist in Flandreau. We have 3 children Addison(8), Kinley(5), and Braxton(14 months). I enjoy playing softball and any outdoor sports. |
